British composer Isobel Waller-Bridge has been listed by IMDb as the composer for the upcoming Tomb Raider (2027) live-action series produced by Amazon MGM Studios. Amongst Isobel Waller-Bridge's credentials are the original scores to Emma, Sweetpea, Last Seen & Munich: The Edge of War, and she happens to be the sister of Tomb Raider showrunner Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Tomb Raider was announced in May 2024 as produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Crystal Dynamics, with filming having begun in Surrey in January 2026. British actress Sophie Turner has been cast as the iconic video-game heroine Lara Croft and is accompanied by an ensemble cast including Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Celia Imrie & Bill Paterson. The franchise's first live action series series is slated for release next year.
