"Alone" by Jason Graves
With the recent announcement of Jason Graves as the composer attached to the anticipated Tomb Raider (2013) reboot, a media embargo has certainly been lifted. Amongst the first wave of material was fittingly an already well-known piece of music, directly from the composer himself.
The entire score to the "Turning Point" CGI cinematic trailer, which made its debut in May 2011, is now available to download via Jason Graves' official website:
"Jason Graves is an Academy Award-winning (BAFTA) composer who has brought his passion for music to video game franchises such as DEAD SPACE (EA), STAR TREK (Bethesda), SILENT HUNTER (Ubisoft) and COMMAND AND CONQUER (EA).
His music has become synonymous with unique, cinematic textures combined with modern aesthetics and he is renowned worldwide for his cinematic, immersive and award-winning music."
Tomb Raider is set for worldwide release on March 5th, 2013. A soundtrack release has yet to be publicly related.
