"Monstrum Chronicles" novelist inspired by Angel of Darkness

The Monstrum Chronicles writer Katherine Silva treats Tomb Raider music fans today with an article reminiscing on Peter Connelly's music to Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. Silva, author of the dark and mysterious The Monstrum Chronicles novel series, first published in 2010, cites Connelly's music as a great source of inspiration for her creative writing process:

"Peter Connelly and Martin Iveson’s engaging score for this game is one that I have gone back to time and time again while working on books. There’s this ominous undercurrent of menace that runs through each piece. These songs have proved invaluable while writing my horror series, The Monstrum Chronicles, as well as other books that I’ve worked on in the past. " - Katherine Silva

The author also details four specific tracks and what scenes she makes out from listening to them. The audio accompaniments are derived from none other than MoTR's community developed "Deluxe Edition" soundtrack to Angel of Darkness. Full article via The Monstrum Chronicles.
